Job Description
We are looking for a diligent 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This is a Full-Time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week. You will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and cooperating effectively with peers and leadership. Additionally, you will play a key role in improving processes and achieving budgeted goals.
Responsibilities
- Receive and fulfill store orders efficiently.
- Organize and relocate merchandise based on guidelines.
- Prepare and load merchandise for shipment and unloading.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
- Participate in inventory counts and provide feedback for process improvement.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and basic arithmetic skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
- Moving merchandise and operating powered industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.
