1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. This is a full-time position with an average of 30-35 hours per week and a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role in efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to uphold warehouse appearance standards and safety regulations.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes and assist in achieving organizational goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines and follow ergonomic procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physically able to lift and move products up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
