2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Conduct general cleaning to meet warehouse appearance and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with colleagues and management.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency according to ALDI Acts competencies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds repeatedly.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in various temperatures and environments.
