Area Manager, Critical Infrastructure

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Area Manager to oversee the critical infrastructure operations, maintenance, and technical leadership for our data centers. The role involves ensuring 24x7 uptime and compliance with SLAs, coaching and leading a team of engineers, and driving efficiency improvements across markets.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Own and manage all aspects of data center operations.
• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of managers, engineers, and staff.
• Identify and implement operational and financial efficiencies.
• Develop and follow company policies and procedures.
• Oversee disaster recovery exercises and electrical installations.
• Prepare reports on facility performance and customer utilization.
• Create detailed MOPs and SOPs for maintenance activities.
• Conduct facility rounds, customer tours, and equipment monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in a management position, 2+ years in critical infrastructure.
• Military or trade experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certifications in relevant engineering fields.
• 5+ years in data centers, 3+ years in a management position.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Advanced keyboard usage and occasional travel.

Base Pay Range

• Estimated $112,700 - $145,400 annually. Actual salary varies based on experience and location.
