Job Description
New Era Technology, a global technology solutions provider, is seeking an AV Field Engineer to join its team. As an AV Field Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, tuning, and troubleshooting complex AV systems. You will work closely with a team of industry-certified professionals to install and maintain AV systems, ensuring exceptional service delivery to our customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Support the install team in the installation of AV systems.
- Perform technical tasks such as crimping, soldering, wiring, labeling, and terminating AV systems.
- Fabricate AV systems both on-site and inhouse.
- Install and label equipment into racks.
- Dress cables and maintain proper documentation of equipment.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair custom AV systems.
- Train clients on the use of AV systems.
- Adhere to deadlines, maintain a professional appearance, and ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
- Work collaboratively with the team to deliver exceptional AV solutions.
Requirements
- AVIXA CTS certification and a minimum of four years of AV experience.
- Proficiency in audiovisual applications such as ClearOne, AMX, Extron, Crestron, Poly, Cisco, QSC, Biamp, etc.
- Strong organization, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel domestically and internationally.
- Clean driving record and valid US Passport.
