Job Description: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Caregiver
Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Caregiver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support to our residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Programs, helping them with daily activities, and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including medication reminders, bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Offer emotional and social support to residents, enhancing their quality of life.
- Document care provided and communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor.
- Promote residents' independence, dignity, and confidentiality.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment while following all policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certified as a CNA, STNA, GNA, CHHA, or similar caregiver certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification may be required.
- Experience with elderly and memory-impaired adults is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, work in a team, and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
