Job Description

We are seeking a talented Customer Business Team Lead to join our dynamic team at CROSSMARK. This role involves possessing in-depth knowledge of the retail industry, competition, and marketplace. The ideal candidate will be the go-to person for the retailer's leadership, driving sales growth, and exploring revenue-generating opportunities. Responsibilities include leading a team, managing client relationships, executing strategic plans, and driving brand promotion strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for retailer P&L items such as revenue and payroll.
  • Provide leadership to team members and cultivate a positive growth environment.
  • Manage business relations with the retailer and evaluate team performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong client and customer relationships within a geographic region.
  • Create strategic client plans for effective brand promotion and strengthen brand activation.
  • Execute strategic plans for all clients' brands within the defined geography.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or a minimum of 10 years of experience in the CPG industry.
  • Demonstrated sales experience with communication and negotiation skills.
  • Leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Performance Metrics:

Evaluation based on sales plan execution, new item acceptances, client revenue growth, and customer service metrics.

Skills and Abilities:

Strong communication, consultative selling, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in category management, business acumen, and customer service orientation.

Work Environment:

Combination of office and field environment with the ability to travel within the US for meetings.
