We are looking for a dedicated Director, Life Claims and Investigations to join our team at USAA. As the Director, you will oversee Life, Annuity & Health claims and fraud investigation programs, manage staff, and develop industry relationships. Your role will involve interpreting procedures, directing investigations, ensuring business performance, and collaborating with internal and external partners. Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to staff in interpreting procedures and guidelines.
• Oversee claim decisions and investigation team.
• Develop and implement strategic and operational plans/policies.
• Identify emerging fraud trends and develop new investigation programs.
• Manage hiring, coaching, and performance evaluation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of business experience with 3 years in Claims and/or Insurance Fraud.
• 3 years of direct team lead or management experience.
• Superior communication and leadership skills.
