Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Dispatcher to join our team at RICH TRANSPORT LLC. As a key member of the Dispatch department, you will be responsible for managing driver operations, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring on-time performance. You will play a crucial role in maintaining communication between drivers, load planners, and management to guarantee operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update Bill of Lading information, ETAs, and PTAs on a daily basis.
• Monitor driver board to ensure drivers meet expected mileage targets.
• Communicate promptly with relevant departments regarding any delays in shipments.
• Assist fellow driver managers and dispatchers as required.
• Conduct regular check calls with drivers to track progress and address any issues.
• Work collaboratively with Load Planners/Coordinators to optimize delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of driver hours and truck mileages.
• Adhere to company procedures and maintain professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with McLeod database and manifest building.
• Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload.
