Electrical Engineer

Doppelmayr USA Inc is looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing electrical control systems for various aerial ropeways, collaborating with international colleagues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. We are seeking a candidate who demonstrates professionalism, enthusiasm, and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control circuits complying with relevant codes and standards.
• Provide assistance to the Customer Service department for troubleshooting.
• Establish effective communication with global teams to ensure consistent design standards.
• Meet company quality objectives and engage in project engineering activities.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in PLC and relay logic control systems.
• Clear understanding of AC and DC power, control circuitry, and electrical diagrams.
• Knowledge of PLC and HMI integration and safety programming practices.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in CAD software.
• Ability to travel and work at heights in mountainous environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hydraulic system controls and safety analysis of control circuits.
• Familiarity with fiberoptic cabling and leadership capabilities.

Education

Required: BSEE or equivalent with proven competency.

Preferred: EIT Certification, Manufacturer's Training in automation and drive systems.

Experience

0-5 years in control systems engineering.

Other Requirements

• Ability to adapt to varying schedules and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Reports to the Electrical Engineering team lead.
• Full-time in-office position.
