Salary: $87,000 - $197,700 per year
If you are passionate about clean energy and have expertise in transmission planning and generation interconnection studies, consider joining Amazon's Energy Team as a Grid Analyst. In this role, you will lead transmission planning activities to support renewable energy projects and power supply opportunities for AWS data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain transmission planning and generation interconnection models.
- Aggregate datasets to support renewable energy and deployment decisions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify and mitigate transmission constraints.
- Explore non-wires alternative solutions like Battery storage for energy decarbonization.
- Manage consultants and contracts related to energy projects.
Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience.
- Knowledge of best practices and technologies in infrastructure.
- Experience with infrastructure builds.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years in Transmission planning and Generation Interconnection studies.
