Job Description: Field Trainer

A&W Restaurants Inc. is seeking a Field Trainer to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Field Training, this role focuses on implementing company standards through coaching and training activities in the field. The Field Trainer will be responsible for training and developing franchisees and restaurant staff, ensuring compliance with standards, and fostering positive business relationships with Franchise Partners.

Responsibilities

• Execute strategic plans for operational excellence and guest service.
• Train franchisees and staff on operating procedures.
• Enforce compliance to company standards.
• Facilitate training content during A&W University sessions.
• Coordinate training for new restaurant openings and on-site Brand Refreshers.

Competencies

• Strong leadership and operational skills.
• Proficiency in supervisory practices and procedures.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Experience in creating digital training content.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years training experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.

Physical Demands

This role requires extensive travel, standing, mobility, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
