Arnold Motor Supply is looking for a skilled Full-Time Engine Machinist to join our team. With a legacy of almost 100 years, we are a renowned industry leader across five states and 75 locations. As an Engine Machinist, you will provide specialized services to our customers, utilizing your expertise to create custom engine solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and address customer's unique engine machining requirements.
- Operate and maintain machine shop equipment safely and efficiently.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage diverse jobs from various industries including agriculture, high-performance, diesel, vintage/restoration, and more.
- Provide accurate job estimates and ensure timely delivery according to specifications.
- Maintain excellent communication with customers throughout projects.
- Perform a wide range of machine shop tasks such as engine rebuilds, parts reconditioning, and more.
Requirements
- Demonstrated manual dexterity for machining and assembly work.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to lift a minimum of 70 pounds regularly.
- Comfort with standing, lifting, twisting, bending, walking, and sitting.
- Basic computer proficiency.
