Job Description
We are hiring a Home Delivery Driver to join our team at Slumberland Furniture. As a Home Delivery Driver, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service by delivering merchandise safely and efficiently to our valued customers. Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery team to safely inspect, load, deliver, and set up merchandise for customers.
- Establish customer greeting, conduct pre-inspections, set up merchandise, and ensure accurate delivery and returns.
- Maintain and clean delivery vehicles daily to display professionalism and organization.
- Ensure the proper handling, operation, and maintenance of trucks and equipment to prevent injuries or damage.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for meeting new people.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to provide direction, maintain accurate records, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work day-shift schedules throughout the week.
- Must pass DOT requirements, a criminal background check, and a 5-panel drug screening.
