Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Kitchen Cook to join our team at Hornblower - City Experiences in Norfolk, VA. As a Kitchen Cook, you will work alongside our culinary team to ensure the highest standards of quality, service, and guest satisfaction are met. Responsibilities
- Manage back-of-the-house cruise execution in collaboration with the Executive Chef.
- Oversee kitchen staff to maintain adherence to sanitation standards and product quality.
- Recruit, train, and schedule kitchen staff while fostering a positive working environment.
- Ensure the effective execution of each cruise according to specified guidelines for guest satisfaction.
- Participate in cost control measures, inventory management, and procurement processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of three (3) years of kitchen experience in a high-volume setting.
- Previous kitchen staff management experience preferred.
- ServSafe Certification.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work in confined spaces, and communicate effectively.
