Job Description

We are looking for a Lead Problem Management Specialist to join our team at Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the life-cycle of assigned Corporate Risk Management Problems, identifying root causes, minimizing future impacts, and collaborating with various teams to resolve issues effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the life-cycle and coordination of actions for assigned Problems.
  • Ensure service level agreements are met and escalate issues for timely resolution.
  • Maintain problem inventories and progress in ServiceNow.
  • Propose process improvements and mentor support specialists.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Business, IT, Mathematics, Analytics, or Statistics.
  • 4+ years of experience in Consumer Banking Call Center Operations or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Mathematics, Analytics, Engineering, or Statistics.
  • 1+ years of risk management or people management experience.

Compensation

Base pay typically ranges from $75,500.00 to $127,900.00 with additional incentives.
