Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Anderson County Detention Center in Anderson, SC. Responsibilities

• Administer routine and emergency medical care to detainees.
• Treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
• Provide patient treatments as ordered by medical providers.
• Ensure safety and security while providing care.
• Complete initial and ongoing screenings of detained individuals.
• Explain procedures and treatment protocols to patients.

Requirements

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Current LPN licensure in the state of employment or ability to obtain.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Correctional nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, including drug screen and background check.
