Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join Pediatric Associates of Greater Salem Inc. As the Care Team Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the clinical team, maintaining operational efficiency, managing patients' needs, providing education, delivering direct care, and handling triage responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in infection control and pediatric care.
• Assess and address the holistic needs of clients and families.
• Provide urgent in-office and telephone triage, as well as crisis management.
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR system.
• Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Administer vaccines, medications, and perform office procedures with professionalism.
• Coordinate post-discharge care to prevent complications and readmissions.
• Maintain ongoing pediatric-focused education and training.
• Adhere to practice policies and procedures.
• Meet the physical demands of the position effectively.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Proficient in handling sensitive medical information and complying with HIPAA regulations.
• Experience with EMR systems, Microsoft Office, and email communication.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Massachusetts from the Department of Public Health Nursing Certification Board.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Continuing Educational Units (CEU's).
• Adherence to American Nursing Association Standards of Practice.
