Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, a program of Family & Community Services, Inc. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) reporting to the Clinical Director and Medical Director.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication under the supervision of the Medical Director.
• Provide emergency care and first aid services as required.
• Collaborate with agency physicians in monitoring client behavior and response to medication.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all client-related issues and concerns.
• Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Skills in medication administration, crisis intervention, and clinical interviewing.
• Training in First Aid, CPR, and de-escalation techniques.
• Licensed Practical Nurse certification in the State of Ohio.
• Valid Ohio Driver's License and reliable transportation.
• Prior mental health nursing experience preferred.
