Job Description
Join our team at Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on part-time evening shifts (3pm-11pm). In this role, you will assist in directing nursing services, delegate duties, observe patient conditions, and provide quality nursing care to patients. Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for unit/hall in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties to nursing personnel and monitor work performance under supervision.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, including general physical and mental conditions.
- Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders as instructed.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Hold a current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies as needed.
- Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
- Yearly CPR certification and attendance of in-service training and staff meetings.
