Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Liberty Commons of Lee County. In this part-time position, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the direction of nursing services under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, observing patient conditions, and providing quality nursing care in a compassionate environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services in compliance with the Nursing Practice Act.
- Delegate duties and monitor work performance of nursing personnel.
- Observe patients for symptoms of adverse changes and notify physicians of emergencies.
- Implement changes in orders as instructed by physicians.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated Licensed Practical Nurse from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current, valid North Carolina Board of Nursing license with proof of renewal.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses and provide quality care to patients.
- CPR certification required yearly.
- Attend in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
