Maintenance Technician - Floater

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician (Floater) to join our team at Avesta Housing. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining buildings and grounds across Kittery, Maine, and the Seacoast region of New Hampshire. Responsibilities

• Maintain buildings and grounds of affordable housing properties.
• Perform basic carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and general repair tasks.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Provide excellent customer service and support.
• Adhere to on-call schedules if required.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and grow in a mission-driven environment.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge or willingness to learn maintenance skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Experience with technology is a plus.

This full-time non-exempt position offers an hourly wage of $21.00 - $23.00 with overtime opportunities. The work locations include properties in Kittery, ME; Exeter, NH; and Hampton Falls, NH.
