Manufactured Systems Assembly Lead
We are looking for a dynamic Manufactured Systems Assembly Lead to join our team at CMC Rescue Inc. This position, reporting to the Production Supervisor, requires a candidate who will take charge of the assembly of life safety systems, ensuring top-notch quality, and supporting the assembly team. The successful candidate will oversee training, maintain inventory, coordinate production, and uphold CMC products & processes to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to safety practices
- Lead the completion of jobs in the assembly area
- Provide training and guidance to the assembly team
- Maintain inventory and organization of materials
- Coordinate flow of assembled systems and activities of production employees
- Ensure on-time completion of job orders
- Perform spot-checks and inspections
- Participate in continuous improvement projects
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 2-3 years of production experience
- Experience with Lean production environments preferred
- Strong attention to detail and math skills
Skills and Abilities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and training skills
- Computer experience required, MRP systems preferred
Essential Functions
The successful candidate must be able to walk, stand, handle objects, and lift weights up to 50 pounds. Close vision abilities are required.
Compensation
Hourly Wage: $22.94 - $25.5
