Job Description
Join the Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services team as a Medication Aide at Mary Gran facility. This full-time evening position offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to provide compassionate care to our residents.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications following established policies and procedures, excluding injections, g-tube or nasogastic tubes, and IV medications.
- Conduct procedures such as vital signs, enemas, and suppositories with ethical and moral practice.
- Ensure resident and staff safety through universal precautions and hazardous chemical protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report any medication errors.
- Handle controlled substances, conduct handover procedures, and maintain proper shift transition protocols.
Requirements
- Registered on the NA1 registry with a clear record of abuse or neglect allegations.
- Successfully complete state-approved training program and orientation.
- Ability to effectively communicate and perform job responsibilities.
- Capable of physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
