Nurse Practitioner - APRN (Mid-Level)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our team at Cibola General Hospital. As a mid-level provider, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. Your duties will include accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, consultation, education, and follow-up care under the direction of the Supervisory Physician.

Primary Functions

• Examine patients and record history.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Plan and implement healthcare goals for patients.
• Administer treatment and medications.
• Advise patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Refer patients to specialists when necessary.
• Perform minor surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Maintain proper health records and charting protocols.

Education and Experience

• Must have a current State of New Mexico license in good standing.
• Current National Board Certification is required.
• DEA certification must be current.

Additional Qualifications

• Prior experience with an electronic medical records system is preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Reporting Structure

You will report to the Clinic Administrator/Chief of Staff.
