Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. In this role, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures, predicting pending failures, and ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing equipment. Your duties will involve leveraging various technologies like infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic to collect and analyze data daily to prevent downtime effectively. Additionally, you will work closely with maintenance planners to schedule repairs during planned maintenance and provide crucial support to minimize unplanned downtime due to machinery failure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and reliability technology, with a focus on maintaining a safe work environment and promoting equipment longevity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures.
• Predict pending failures through data analysis.
• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for data collection.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners for scheduled repairs.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Recommend immediate repairs to prevent catastrophic failure.
• Collect oil samples for lab test analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Identify and address equipment upgrade or repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in reliability technology in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
