Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join the TOYOTI1 team. As a full-time technician, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and predicting potential machine failures, minimizing downtime, and ensuring optimal equipment performance.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced reliability equipment to detect and analyze potential machine failures.
• Analyze data to predict and prevent pending failures.
• Collect data using infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology on a daily basis.
• Collaborate with maintenance planners to schedule necessary repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate shutdown of equipment for repairs to prevent catastrophic failures.
• Conduct oil sample collection for lab analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Participate in reliability and maintenance meetings.
• Implement plans to enhance equipment lifespan.
• Stay updated with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and regulations.
• Identify equipment conditions needing attention and suggest upgrades or replacements.
• Effectively communicate findings through written and verbal reports.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience considered; PdM certifications a plus.
• Proficiency in root cause failure analysis and working independently or in a group.
