Job Description

We are looking for a Preferred Accounts Manager to join Johns Manville Corp - a Berkshire Hathaway company. As part of the Preferred Accounts team, you will be responsible for managing business development, selling efforts, and account management activities for key clients in support of internal sales and certified contractor partners. This role involves developing deep client relationships, understanding trade-specific procedures, and increasing business with existing and new clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish JM as an industry leader and trusted partner.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert prospect accounts into long-term JM Preferred Account clients.
  • Develop multi-level relationships with key decision-makers within existing accounts.
  • Support sales efforts and drive JM position and preference.
  • Provide enhanced services to match client needs and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5-7 years of roofing/construction industry experience.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • 3-5 years of business development or national account sales experience.
  • Ability to navigate complex selling situations and formulate effective strategies.
  • Travel up to 50% required.
