Project Manager- Environmental (Norfolk, VA)

Job Description

HEPACO Inc, a leading environmental and emergency services company in Norfolk, VA, is looking for an experienced Environmental Services / ER Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will be responsible for organizing, leading, and successfully completing projects in the region with a focus on safety and quality. Additionally, they will collaborate on business development activities and participate in the sales and marketing process. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the Branch Manager and Territory Account Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform project management duties including planning, contract compliance, quality control, and resource management.
• Participate in project bidding and contracting process, ensuring accuracy and quality.
• Collaborate with management in business development activities.
• Lead and mentor team members, providing performance management inputs.
• Ensure safe operation of company vehicles and equipment.
• Provide project cost reporting and financial data as required.
• Uphold company mission and values in daily actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 suite.
• Prior experience with Hyland OnBase is a plus.
