Job Description
Corewell Health is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our dynamic team. As a Radiology Technologist with Corewell Health, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following verification of patient identification and physician orders.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document it in the medical record.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for radiographic procedures.
- Effectively communicate with medical staff, peers, and patients.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and adhere to quality control standards.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in various diagnostic areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required.
- CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist 180 Days required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required.
