Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology, ensuring patient safety and providing quality images for interpretation. Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
- Obtain accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Conduct radiographic and related patient care procedures using appropriate methods.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiently operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow protocols.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Contribute to department operations and assist in training new hires.
- Maintain competency in designated areas and follow quality assurance standards.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) & CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT required.
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Upon Hire required.
