General Summary
Under supervision, perform accurate diagnostic exams in general radiology, ensuring good clinical skills and optimal image quality. Follow radiation protection principles and provide excellent patient care.
Essential Duties
- Perform quality diagnostic exams with patient identification verification.
- Obtain patient history and document accurately.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize proper radiographic procedures based on patient's needs.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow safety protocols.
- Provide patient education and procedural information.
- Contribute to departmental operations and quality assurance.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competency in diagnostic imaging areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) and CRT-BLS certifications required.
