Job Description
Join our team at Corewell Health as a Full-Time Radiology Technologist to make a significant impact on patient care. This position offers increased pay rates and a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will perform diagnostic exams in various radiology areas, provide exceptional patient care, and ensure quality imaging for interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for patients.
- Relay STAT requests promptly to radiologists.
- Communicate effectively with various departments and staff.
- Operate imaging equipment proficiently and follow malfunction protocols.
- Provide education to patients prior to exams.
- Assist in training new hires and students.
- Maintain competencies in various radiology areas.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- CRT-Radiographer (R) - ARRT required.
- BLS Certification - AHA required.
