Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN/LPN) to join our team at Friendship Village Chesterfield. As a staff nurse in our 24-hour operation, you will provide direct care to residents, administer medications, perform treatments, and supervise nursing assistants. Your role will involve initiating individual care plans, maintaining clean and safe resident areas, and promoting resident independence and quality of life. Collaboration with physicians and adherence to nursing practices and regulations are vital for ensuring the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and leadership to staff
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living
- Initiate individual care plans based on healthcare goals
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in resident areas
- Communicate with physicians and Director of Nursing
Requirements
- Current State of Missouri RN/LPN license
- Positive attitude towards customer service
- Genuine interest in geriatric care
- Ability to motivate staff and maintain relationships with residents
