Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Risk Management Analyst to join our team at PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon. In this role, you will provide independent analysis and support to the front office, risk oversight committee, and senior management. Your responsibilities will include preparing market price data, monitoring risk management limits, assisting with responses to data requests, reviewing transactions for compliance, and preparing reports on transaction activity and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare market price data and risk reports.
- Monitor power and natural gas positions against risk management limits.
- Assist in responding to internal and external data requests.
- Review transactions for policy compliance.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Maintain the energy risk management policy.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three years of experience in risk management or related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively and present recommendations.
Preferences
- Advanced degree in a related field.
- Knowledge of energy and risk management activities.
- Experience with automation tools and energy trading software.
