RN Poison Information Specialist (Uncertified)

Job Description

Denver Health is seeking a dedicated RN Poison Information Specialist (Uncertified) to join our RMPDS Poison Call Center team. In this role, you will provide phone consultation and education to individuals and healthcare professionals on exposures to medications, chemicals, and other substances. The position includes assessing cases, offering recommendations, ensuring quality documentation, and providing public health information.

Responsibilities

• Assess poisoning cases by collecting relevant information and history.
• Offer first aid, prevention advice, and treatment recommendations to callers.
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality standards.
• Provide public health and emergency services information.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• Minimum of six months experience in a medical call center or relevant setting.
• Active RN license.
• Proficiency in computer skills, communication, and medical terminology.
