Senior Development Officer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Development Officer to join Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior Director, Development, to manage a portfolio of funders, develop fundraising strategies, and cultivate relationships with various stakeholders. You will play a key role in advancing the organization's mission and contributing to its overall fundraising success.

Responsibilities

• Immerse yourself in Enterprise's mission and programs to develop fundraising strategies.
• Collaborate with program staff to create compelling case statements for potential funders.
• Build strong relationships across different divisions to tailor fundraising approaches.
• Cultivate relationships with local, regional, and national funders, and engage in meetings and events.
• Write and submit proposals, reports, and other materials following funder guidelines.
• Create customized proposals, impact reports, and recognition opportunities for funders.
• Maintain accurate records and activities in Salesforce.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in corporate and foundation fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in securing significant donations.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Salesforce.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
• Knowledge of community development and affordable housing industry is a plus.
