Job Description

Join Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. as a Senior Software Development Engineer - AWS Cryptography in the Protocols, Algorithms, and Libraries (PAL) team. Collaborate with senior leaders, principal engineers, and security specialists to design and implement secure, open source encryption tools. Take ownership of the software development lifecycle, deliver foundational libraries in C and Rust, and contribute to one of the most secure services in AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience in leading design or architecture of systems
• Ability to mentor or lead engineering teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
