Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer passionate about cryptography to join Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. As part of our AWS Cryptography team, you will be responsible for implementing cryptography solutions at scale to secure web services and protect customer data. The PAL team focuses on building open source encryption tools and libraries to enhance data security for AWS customers. You will collaborate with senior leaders and security specialists to deliver secure software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the software development lifecycle for AWS Cryptography features.
- Operate globally distributed servers and business.
- Develop secure and reliable libraries using C and Rust.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Experience in system design, architecture, and mentoring roles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Full software development life cycle experience.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
