Senior Special Procedure Tech

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team in Troy. In this role, you will provide direct care and support for patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, ensuring quality patient-centered care. From monitoring patients throughout procedures to operating equipment and educating patients and families, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients during invasive procedures, providing technical support and compassionate care.
• Perform hemodynamic calculations and maintain quality standards in equipment.
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff, patients, and ancillary departments.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and department protocols.
• Participate in training and mentorship activities for junior techs.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in radiography or cardiovascular technology.
• Over 3 years of experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, or EP Lab.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications (RT-CV, RCES, RCIS).
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
