Special Procedure Tech

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Special Procedure Tech to join Corewell Health's team in a full-time capacity. As a Special Procedure Tech, you will provide direct care to patients undergoing Heart and/or Vascular procedures, working closely with physicians to deliver high-quality patient-centered care. Your responsibilities will include performing IV starts, prepping patients, monitoring hemodynamics, operating equipment, documenting procedures, vascular access site management, and offering patient/family education. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring patients during procedures, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with Corewell Health standards and radiation safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited radiography program for Interventional Radiology; graduate of Cardiovascular Technologist program, associate degree in cardiovascular technology/basic science, Paramedic license, or equivalent training for Cath Lab/EP Lab.
• 1 year of experience in EP, Cath Lab, or IR.
• BLS certification, active RT status for IR; BLS and ACLS certifications for Cath Lab and EP Lab.
• Basic computer skills, exceptional communication, and customer service skills.
