Senior Merchandise Handler at Slumberland Furniture

We are looking to hire a Senior Merchandise Handler to join our warehouse team. As a key member of the operations, you will be responsible for efficiently moving, storing, and distributing our products. This role involves training other employees, ensuring accurate inventory records, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently move and condense merchandise for optimal space usage.
• Handle merchandise transitions, including display, storage, delivery, and shipment.
• Utilize POS system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and inventory records.
• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise, and prepare outgoing shipments.
• Lead and provide training to team members.
• Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues, and vendors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic math skills and understanding of tools and hardware assembly.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Prior experience with POS systems is a plus.
