Job Description
Kate's K9 Pet Care is looking for dedicated and responsible individuals to join our team as Dog Walkers. As the #1 Pet Care Professionals in VA and MD, we take pride in providing exceptional care to our clients' beloved pets. This position offers the flexibility to work at your own pace while earning competitive compensation.
Responsibilities
- Create a safe and positive walking environment for our clients' dogs.
- Provide detailed and attentive care for our clients' cats and other small animals.
- Perform house-sitting duties as requested by the client.
- Transport client pets as necessary.
- Candidates with evening, weekend, and holiday availability preferred.
- Remain flexible to accommodate changes in client demand week to week.
Compensation
$19 - $21 / hour (based on previous staff wages and potential earning bonuses). 30-minute visits are paid at the starting rate of $14-$15 per visit (DOE), with the rate increasing to $16 per visit within the first year. Most staff will gross $22+ per hour to start. Time and a half on holidays and when servicing short-notice requests. Client gratuity with 100% of client tips going to staff. Bonuses for client/staff referrals and reaching performance goals. Work materials will be provided, and staff will earn bonuses when obtaining Pet First Aid and Pet CPR certifications.
