Facilities Equipment Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Facilities Equipment Engineer to join Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As part of the team, you will be responsible for managing industrial equipment availability, maintaining critical spares, and optimizing equipment uptime performance.

Responsibilities

• Support and update equipment listings to maximize uptime.
• Define and secure critical spares for production equipment.
• Maintain appropriate levels of equipment spares and track open purchase orders.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure efficient preventative maintenance.
• Establish equipment uptime health board and track maintenance trends.
• Assist in utilizing predictive maintenance techniques like Thermography and vibration analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and VBA tools knowledge.
• Basic understanding of CNC and Robotic equipment.
• Ability to read OEM drawings and Electrical Schematics.

Desired Characteristics

• Experience in Aerospace Assembly or Composites Manufacturing.
• Mechanical and Electrical Drawing interpretation skills.
• Proficiency in Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Knowledge of CAD design and Additive Manufacturing.
• Inventory management experience and Machine Design skills.
