Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Description

Liberty Healthcare and Rehabilitation Services is currently seeking a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN) to join our team on a per diem basis during evenings (3pm - 11pm). As an LPN, you will assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall, delegating duties, observing patients for symptoms, and collaborating with healthcare professionals for optimal patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under supervision.
• Delegate duties and monitor performance of nursing personnel.
• Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, reporting changes as needed.
• Notify attending physician of emergencies and implement changes in orders.
• Perform assigned duties effectively to maintain high-quality patient care standards.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
• Willingness to work as charge nurses and during emergencies for coverage.
• Ability to provide quality nursing care to patients with a focus on geriatric nursing.
• CPR certification is required annually.
• Participate in in-service training and staff meetings as necessary.
