Job Description
Liberty Healthcare Management is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Bermuda Commons. The role involves assisting in directing nursing services, delegating duties, observing and monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Assist in directing nursing services for the unit/hall under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Delegate duties to professional and non-professional nursing staff, monitoring their work performance.
- Observe patients for symptoms and reactions, alerting the attending physician to any emergent situations.
- Implement changes in patient care as instructed by physicians.
Requirements
- High school graduate.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current, valid LPN license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- Willingness to work as charge nurses during emergencies and provide quality care to patients.
- CPR certification and attendance at required in-service training.
