Job Description

The University of Toledo Physicians is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our clinic team. The LPN will work under the supervision of healthcare providers to deliver high-quality patient care and maintain a positive patient experience. This role involves performing clinical procedures, preparing patients for exams, administering medications, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical procedures under the supervision of healthcare providers.
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist in physical exams.
• Administer medications and document patient information accurately.
• Communicate instructions to patients clearly and professionally.
• Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms.
• Handle phone calls, messages, and triage patient inquiries.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent with a Diploma from an accredited LPN Program.
• State of Ohio License Practical Nurse and CPR/BLS Certification.
• Proficiency in medical terminology and basic computer literacy.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of patient privacy best practices.
