R&D Engineer

Job Description

Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products is seeking an R&D Engineer to join our team in Valencia, CA. As part of the Engineering team, you will contribute to new product development, design, and engineering support activities. This intermediate-level role involves designing new products, developing production procedures, providing technical support, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and processes.
• Create and improve production procedures.
• Design parts and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Coordinate services from third parties and source materials.
• Support design transfer to manufacturing.
• Provide technical support for sales and customers.
• Maintain design files and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• MS degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of nuclear science and ability to apply scientific theory.
• Project management skills and critical thinking ability.
• Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively and support sales efforts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications; SolidWorks experience is a plus.
