Summary
As a Maintenance Technician at Freeman Webb Company, you will be responsible for the overall maintenance of the physical plant under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in various maintenance projects.
- Perform electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Replace broken items such as glass, carpet, fixtures, and locks.
- Execute painting, carpentry, and custodial tasks.
- Assist in grounds work and emergency coverage schedules.
- Conduct equipment maintenance and unit inspections.
- Maintain stock control and workshop organization.
- Ensure work safety and assist in janitorial tasks.
Qualification Requirements
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent with prior maintenance experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret safety rules and manuals.
Mathematical Skills: Basic math proficiency required.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must possess a valid driver's license.
Physical Demands
The role involves physical activities such as standing, climbing, lifting heavy objects, and working at heights.
