Manufacturing Process Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Manufacturing Process Specialist to join Preformed Line Products and drive global manufacturing performance improvement through equipment, process engineering, and product engineering collaboration. As part of our team, you will take on a leadership role in enhancing manufacturing productivity and ensuring best practices in safety, quality, and productivity standards across remote sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical process improvement and troubleshooting support for metal and plastic fabrication.
• Enhance manufacturing productivity by implementing process improvements.
• Establish and maintain manufacturing process standards for optimal performance.
• Collaborate with product engineering teams to provide insights for design manufacturability and support PLM software implementation.
• Bring new manufacturing developments to PLP sites worldwide and drive operational performance improvements.

Qualifications

• B.S. Degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of ten years of engineering or management experience.
• Proficiency in manufacturing technology and processing methods.
• Previous management experience of at least five years.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience with manufacturing, inventory control, and costing software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple projects across departments and locations.
• Strong organizational skills and project management capabilities.
• Ability to lift objects up to 40 pounds.
